The Nimtec manufacturing plant is situated in Kya Sand, Randburg, JHB and spans over 4500sqm. It is a world-class facility equipped with 6 large, manually operated, purpose built thermo-forming machines as well as another state-of-the-art, fully automated thermo-forming machine capable of producing up to 60 mouldings per hour the size of a standard bath.
We manufacture our moulded products using a variety of thermoplastics, from single extruded to triple extruded thermoplastics. We also use combinations of thermoformed plastic with composite reinforcements such as modified GRP and strengthening resins.
We have the largest automatic vac forming machine in the southern hemisphere. We are capable of manufacturing moulds up to 2m x 4m.
CNC operated equipment for production of channel letters, light boxes and wall cladding systems.
Most advanced automatic channel bend equipment bending returns from 20mm to 200mm using various metals and aluminium extrusions.
Exclusive use of 3M and Avery products.
Exclusive use of PPG products, DTM direct to metal. We have our own colour mixing facility.
